Zemljište se nalazi u Šipanskoj luci na otoku Šipanu. Smješteno je na atraktivnoj poziciji, a od rive je udaljeno stotinjak metara.
Otok Šipan pripada maloj skupini otoka pored Dubrovnika, nazvanoj Elafitski otoci. Iako je površine svega 16 četvornih kilometara, ipak je najveći otok u skupini.

Otok je s kopnom povezan trajektnom i brodskom linijom.
